This workshop aims at sharing with parents various strategies that could be adopted during the early stage of their children’s Chinese language learning journey to better prepare them for a bilingual future. Strategies presented include: creating a natural bilingual home environment to facilitate acquisition; expanding the child’s vocabulary and grammatical knowledge with the help of picture books and other learning materials; raising of bilingual awareness through bilingual activities.
